The values for Iand renting, SPSZha, capitalization rate, and nonfarming landowners gain areweighted averages over all farms in the 2007 FADN sample. For Iand renting, utilized agricultural area (UAA) is used as the weight; for the rest of the variables, the value of SPS is used as the weight. The weights account also for the number of farms each farm represents in the total population.
